Mid Essex
For patients living in the districts of Braintree and Maldon and the city of Chelmsford, Provide Health offer podiatry services for both adults and children registered with a GP in the NHS Mid-Essex area, provided they meet the criteria.
The service is ONLY available to individuals with a medical condition that significantly affects their feet. The following conditions meet the criteria for treatment eligibility: diabetes, circulatory disorders, steroid/chemotherapy, warfarin therapy, neurological problems, rheumatoid arthritis, wounds, ulcers, and any other acute condition, such as inflamed or infected ingrown toenails. Eligibility is not age-dependent.
You can refer yourself by contacting the service directly on 0300 1310 111 or by completing and sending in a referral form. Referral forms can be requested by reaching out to the Care Co-ordination Centre.
Please be aware that the service will only schedule an appointment if you have a medical condition that places your feet at risk, such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson’s disease. Referrals for conditions like ulceration will receive priority.
