The Let’s Talk About Suicide Essex campaign was developed and funded by NHS Mid and South Essex and delivered by Thurrock and Brentwood Mind. Its aim is to reduce the stigma around talking about suicide and to raise awareness of suicide prevention training, available for free to everyone in Essex through the Zero Suicide Alliance.
Our campaign website provides information and advice on suicide awareness and prevention. We strongly encourage everyone in Essex to complete the free suicide prevention training. It takes just 20 minutes and could help save a life.
Each year in September, we also run a campaign around Suicide Prevention Day, lighting up landmarks across Essex in green. This helps raise awareness of suicide prevention and highlights the free training available to everyone.
