
System Clinical Lead for Prevention, Personalisation and Population Health Management
Dr Anita is a general practitioner based in Basildon and serves as the chair of the RCGP Essex Faculty. As the system clinical lead for prevention, personalised care, and population health management in mid and south Essex, she brings over two decades of experience in public health, primary care, and women’s health. Formerly a board member of the Basildon and Brentwood CCG, Anita contributed to several projects that improved health and care outcomes for local residents.
In her current role, Anita collaborates with system partners to address health inequalities, applying a data-driven approach to champion innovative and sustainable solutions for integrated healthcare. Her focus on utilising local resources and personalised care roles supports a more cohesive and effective healthcare system. As an experienced educator, she also inspires trainee GPs to adopt a holistic approach, emphasising preventative care and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams. Driven by the Marmot principles, Anita is passionate about building a fairer society and fostering high-quality care across mid and south Essex.
