Tracy Dowling has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Tracy is a highly experienced leader who most recently retired as CEO of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation (mental health and community) Trust. Prior to this Tracy was the Accountable Officer in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group. Over her career Tracy has held senior posts in acute hospitals, in NHS commissioning organisations and in NHS England. Tracy will join the organisation on the 20 November, following Anthony (Mac) McKeever’s decision to retire.

I have seen the commitment from all system partner organisations and our wider stakeholders to work together to achieve real improvements in the delivery of health services and outcomes for the population we serve. Tracy will bring her considerable expertise to the role, as we work to deliver effective and efficient health and care services and, most importantly, better outcomes for our residents, staff and communities in mid and south Essex. Our focus will be on continued delivery of our Integrated Care Strategy, working with our partners to ensure a smooth transition before Anthony (Mac) McKeever retires in November.
