We are delighted to announce that the Halo training programme has been awarded a contract for another 12 months with courses now being delivered in Basildon, Chelmsford, Thurrock and Southend. The training courses can result in a City and Guilds qualification and are available to people across mid and south Essex.
Funded by Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System and administered by Southend-on-Sea City Council, Halo works with leading health and social care providers and partners offering fully funded training for a career in health and social care.
Currently offering combined delivery of face to face and virtual learning, these 4-week programmes have been designed in collaboration with employers, Skills for care and NHS to provide people the skills they are looking for, to prepare for a career as a health care professional.
This is great news for the many people who work across Essex in health and social care settings who want improve job prospects as well those looking to train for a new career or a change of direction.
