Essex Local Offer will tour the county at four events this autumn.
Parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are being invited to learn more about the support available at a series of roadshows.
The Essex Local Offer signposts to help and services for children and young people up to the age of 25 with SEND.
As well as support with education, activities, health and wellbeing, the Essex Local Offer provides information on employment and training opportunities.
This autumn, four roadshows are taking place across Essex. These are taking place on:
- Monday 13 October – Loughton, Lopping Hall, IG10 4LF
 - Wednesday 22 October – Burnham on Crouch, Baptist Church, CM0 8HJ
 - Monday 3 November – Brentwood, SNAP Charity, CM14 5WF
 - Wednesday 5 November – Harwich, The Waterfront, CO12 3SS

Attendees will be able to discover local support such as parent support groups for parents/carers of children and young people with SEND. They can also meet other carers and parents, find out about the help available in schools and settings and learn about different services.
We know how important it is for families of children and young people with SEND to feel supported and informed.
These roadshows are a fantastic opportunity to connect with local services, meet other parents and carers, and discover the wide range of help available through the Essex Local Offer.
I encourage anyone who can to come along and find out how we can support you and your family.
Councillor Tony Ball, Cabinet Member for Education Excellence, Lifelong Learning and Employability
