COVID-19 vaccines are offered to those at increased risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19 – this may be due to a health condition or age. JCVI has recommended that the following groups should be able to get a COVID-19 vaccine this spring:
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in care homes for older adults
- individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the Green Book, chapter 14a; tables 3 and 4)
Appointments can be made directly with your GP Practice, if your GP practice is not participating in the Spring campaign, please book via the National Booking Service or alternatively you can call the site of your choice to discuss an appointment directly.

Complex Patients
Complex Patients, patients with a history of anaphylaxis to certain types of drugs that would like to arrange a Covid vaccination can ask their GP to make a referral to the Complex Patient Team. Once referred a clinician will discuss vaccination options with you and assist with your vaccination.
