Meeting of the NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board, held in public.
At this meeting, NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) will formally make decisions linked to:
- The future of community outpatient services at St Peter’s Hospital, Maldon
- The location of inpatient rehabilitation care across mid and south Essex
- The location of standalone midwife-led birthing unit
A Decision-Making Business Case will inform the decisions. This document will be published online on 17 July 2025.
Recommendations have been developed following a detailed review of various options that were based on:
- The original pre-consultation business case
- Public and stakeholder feedback from a formal public consultation
- Recommendations from medical experts
- Financial impact assessments
- Quality and equality impact assessments
- Community working group input and recommendations
Please note this is a meeting held in public, not a ‘public meeting.’ Members of the public are welcome to attend and listen. We invite written questions in advance (see below), however members of the public are unable to contribute or ask questions during the meeting.
