The flu vaccine for children is the safest and most effective way to provide child flu protection during winter. Flu can be serious – even for children with strong Super Bodies. Quick, needle-free, and free for children aged 2–17, the vaccine helps prevent serious illness, reduce flu spreading in schools, and protect vulnerable family members.
How the flu vaccine protects your child
Flu isn’t just a bad cold — it can make children very unwell. Every year, children across the UK are hospitalised with flu complications, and some sadly do not recover.
The free nasal spray vaccine is a powerful, needle-free shield:
- Provides child flu protection for children aged 2–17
 - Safe and effective, used by millions of children every year
 - Helps prevent serious illness and reduces the spread of flu to family members

Even children with strong immune systems – or “Super Bodies” – benefit from this protection.
