Public consultation online session – Stroke Rehabilitation

The NHS across mid and south Essexis committed to ensuring that local healthcare services meet the needs of our community now and in the future.

We are holding a public consultation and inviting local people to give their views onpotential changes to:

• the locations where we provide some of our inpatient services for community hospital intermediate care and stroke rehabilitation, and freestanding midwife-led birthing services; and
  
• the possibility of moving all other patient services at St Peter’s Hospital, Maldon to other locations, mostly in and around Maldon.

The proposals have been developed by local clinical leaders and other health experts.

We are asking local people to share their thoughts on these proposals before we decide what to do. We want to hear from as many people as possible and we will consider your responses carefully taking them into account when we’re making decisions about these proposals.
