Industrial Action Notice

The NHS in mid and south Essex will be working hard to keep people safe during the planned industrial action, while delivering the best care possible.

The British Medical Association (BMA) who represent resident doctors have informed the NHS that its members will be taking industrial action beginning at 7am on Friday 14 November until 6:59am on Wednesday 19 November.

Nobody should put off seeking urgent or emergency care during the strikes and people with serious, life-threatening conditions will continue to be seen at our Emergency Departments.

GP, pharmacy, and dental services will be operating as normal throughout this period.
